Artist Statement:
The exaggerated, the overdone, the absurd, schizophrenic survivalist construction, ingenuity out of necessity, construction site aesthetics and holding things together that are supposed to fall apart.
Common often found materials.
Contradictions and duality.
Ingenuity out of necessity as well as playful mischief.
Strong objects are precarious.
Structures are pathetic but not weak.
Creating a psychological arena that is a combination playroom, workshop, hide out and meeting place for the beginning of a revolution.
Objects exist somewhere between a kid building a fort in the back yard and schizophrenic survivalist guy.
They are games that only I know how to win.
